Welcome to Tiny Classics Oxford

Our Vision

Here at Tiny Classics Oxford, we are committed to spreading the joy of reading and making it an enjoyable and accessible activity for all through newer editions of classic stories. We envision a world where reading is a celebrated and integral part of everyday life, away from the vicissitudes of modern life and technology. In our youngest reader, we wish to imbue a life-long habit with a product that captures his or her imagination , and for our older patrons, we present classics as they are meant to be: simple, yet beautiful and inspiring.

Our Story

Founded in 2024, Tiny Classics Oxford was born out of a love for books and a desire to share that passion with others. Lamenting the decrease in reading habits across the world, four Oxford students decided to combine their expertise in language, law, literature, and finance and launch a publishing house with a tripartite focus: attractive products, affordable prices, and accessible to all, be it a young girl in sub-Saharan Africa or a young boy in Suriname.

Our Team

Our team, led by Amy Jay Todd, Aušra Bukniutė, and Pawlin Marwah, brings together an assortment of experts drawn from the University of Oxford in language and education, creating literary products for different age-groups. This is exemplified by our offering of both English-language classics as well as translated works from French, Hindi, Spanish, and a variety of African languages. This inclusivity is important for we wish to see children read stories from different cultures - the world, is, after all, one, and the universality of themes such as courage, honour, and love underpins stories from across the world.
